Experience:

Tutoring experience in math and sciences throughout college to high school students in after school program. Involved coursework help and exam preparation at Kaplan of Orlando and Tallahassee. Most recently assisted students receive A* for IGSCE in Maths grade 11. In graduate school served as TA for undergraduate level Calculus I, Calculus II, Chemical Engineering 101, Chemistry 100/200, Biology 200, and Anatomy. Tutored English as a second language in various cities throughout international MBA program in.

Approach:

My belief is that no one is bad at math or science. In my experience, concepts are best grasped by the way in which you show them and then understood best by practice. Thus, my approach is teaching and explaining to the specific problem and allowing the student to use that newfound knowledge by applying it to problems. Anyone can understand these concepts so I use my patience and understanding to allow the student to excel. I believe in an interactive approach and help students develop their own mastery of respective subjects. With exam preparation, I use the skills I've devolped and explained to many others at test prep institutions.
