Experience:

I hold a BA (English Language/Literature) and BEd fro a reputable Canadian university. I also hold CELTA ESL certification from the University of Cambridge. In addition to this, I have seven years of teaching experience in London, Kuwait, and here in Abu Dhabi. As for personal accomplishments, I am a published poet and father a 3-year-old daughter.

Approach:

The benefit of one-on-one tutoring is that lessons can be individually crafted based on the needs and educational goals of each pupil. This means first assessing where the pupil is at in terms of skills and abilities and then scaffolding each lesson with an ultimate goal(s) in mind. I pride myself on creating and implementing engaging lessons which allow for active exploration of materials or ideas.
