Experience:

Being a journalism graduate gives me an advantage in reading and writing simple and complex academic text. With English, one-on-one sessions are always best for brainstorming (for essays) and for acquiring an overall understanding of the student and the material. Both the student and I can then create a manageable and effective study plan that will ensure progress and improvement as required.

Approach:

The lesson plans that will be provided will help build on the strengths of the student and work on his/her weaknesses. College/university students and students working on university application essays will have the following included in their lessons; writing and draft sessions, research strategies, proof reading and other requested exercises. High School and Middle School lessons will include reading and writing exercises that aim to push the student's reading and writing levels.
