Experience:

I am an effective educator with 8+ years experience. I am highly qualified in teaching English, as I have Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading. I have a teaching certificate from the USA (all documents available upon request). I am currently in Cycle 1, willing to teach any subject area that is needed. In addition, I have also tutored Cycle 2 students in English and Maths. My teaching is based on the student's needs. I enjoy hands-on and project-based learning that engages the student.

Approach:

My approach to tutoring is first to evaluate the needs and wants of the student. I must first know the parents and students goals in order to best plan effective lesson. Once we share our goals, I plan hands-on student centered lessons. Each student learns differently and it is my passion to discover their learning style and create lessons that engage and guide them. I believe if a student is given the right tools, instruction, and amount of time to practice the new skills he/she will meet and surpass what they are trying to accomplish. I am here to support student's learning needs in every possible way.
