BEd intermediate/senior, Honours BEd Educational Management

Experience:

I have taught for grade 5 all subjects for 10 years in South Africa, as well as taught English, Maths, Science, History and Geography here in the UAE for 8 years. Experience teaching British National curriculum as well as American curriculum. 

Approach:

I plan my lessons based on the students needs. What are they currently having a problem with? How can I best assist them to reach their goals? I like to be hands on with learners, learning through traditional methods as well as utilizing technology as this can be a powerful tool to get learners doing research. I feel that it is important for learners to take charge of their own learning as well as explore different things and make discoveries for themselves with the teachers guidance if they get off track.
