BA (Psychology, French); Currently MSc in Clinical Psychology (Grad Jun 2016)

Experience:

I am 29 years old with a BA in French and Psychology; currently a Master Student in Clinical Psychology. I have a wide experience of working with students of varying ages, giving lessons in English and French in Alliance Française in Ghana. I have also tutored students in English (including creative writing) Psychology and French. I enjoy teaching and ensure that while I create a relaxed environment for learning, my students remain studious and exhibit progress in the shortest possible time.

Approach:

My lesson plans are structured based on the needs of the students. These are established during the first meeting (with the student's input); it may be amended with time based on the level of progress made. I work with the knowledge that each individual processes information and learns differently so I incorporate material for visual, tactile and auditory learning. I allow flexibility to help my students express themselves and will incorporate music and art to enhance student understanding. I conduct periodic appraisals (fortnightly) to evaluate my students' progress and decide what teachng approach to discard/include. I can travel for lessons.
