Experience:

I am an inspiring, self-motivated and dynamic teacher with excellent experience across all years at Primary level. I have a passion for English, supported by my degree in English Literature. Having spent a year honing skills and experience in all year groups I embarked on my teaching career in South London. There, I spent 2 years in Year 5, becoming very well acquainted with the new curriculum and various teaching strategies. I also gained experience in SAT preparation for Year 6 children.

Approach:

When planning my lessons I always ensure I have a variety of strategies in place to appeal to all learners in the classroom. Currently teaching within a class size of 32, this is paramount to generate interest and inspire my learners. Within each subject I constantly check understanding, by breaking a new topic down into manageable chunks and reviewing these constantly. Alongside this, I constantly support and aid each of my students as per their individual needs.
