Experience:

- Higher Diploma in Education - Bachelor of Education Degree (Honors) - Major: Elementary School Education (all subjects); Minor: French Language Studies 4 years experience as an elementary school teacher. I have tutored students after school for 4 years. I have tutored both native speaking students and student with ESL. I have valuable experience working with higher/lower achieving students. I am motivated and flexible, with a desire to help every child to the best of my ability.

Approach:

I pay attention to detail when planning. I assess to see the child's current standard, I discuss with the parents/ child to see what they areas they would like to improve in, and then I plan accordingly for each individual child to develop to the best of their ability. I try to adapt my teaching style to cater to the various abilities and needs of learners. I pay close attention to the likes/interests of each child and try to incorporate these into my plans so the child can enjoy learning.
