Experience:

I have been doing after-school tuition for 10 years in Dubai, and I have the expertise in teaching the topics specific to each individual student. They were of different nationalities from Years 1-13 under the UK, US, and IB curriculum. As mentioned, I have been doing Maths tuition for 10 years in Dubai. I mostly teach the topics on the syllabus, I have also regularly given students focused revision for the GCSEs, SATs, the A Level exams, AP Calculus, and so on. I have also coached students for Maths competitions like the UKMT, and also local ones, one of my previous Yr6 students actually ranking number 4 in the whole UAE.

I can confidently say that all of my students had a considerable improvement in their Maths understanding, and with time, also a steady increase in grades, not to mention a deeper appreciation for the subject.

Approach:

I emphasize mastering the basics first, and I have found it works the best. I also give priority to learning mental Maths techniques and how to apply them to be as efficiently as possible.
