Experience:

I am a native English speaker, having been born and bred in the UK. I have over 5 years experience in Education working with students of all ages, abilities and from different backgrounds. - this includes teaching English to children aged 4 and above, and Lindamood-Bell programs to whoever needs help.  In English, I can help with spelling, grammar, punctuation, comprehension skills and reading fluency. I am also happy to help with homework and preparation for MAP tests or school entrance exams. 

Approach:

I begin my tutoring with an assessment of the student's abilities. This allows me to identify which areas need improving and also allows me to get to know the student so I can adapt my teaching techniques accordingly. I believe that learning needn't be a struggle, and when learning is fun, the mind is more open to new information and ideas, this is why I aim to make my sessions fun, engaging and individualised to each student.
