Experience:

I have worked in schools in both USA and UAE for the past 6 years working both as an elementary teacher as well as a special needs teacher. I have worked with an age range of grade 1 to grade 9 students. A majority of my experience is working with students who are second language learners as well as struggling students in both english and math. I have taught in both American Curriculum and British Curriculum schools here in the Emirates.

Approach:

I bring the same approach to after school tutoring as I do throughout the school day working with Special Needs students, breaking down the basics of each topic in order to build students skills to the grade level expectation both for assignments as well as any upcoming assessments they may have.
