Master of Arts in English, Bachelor of Commerce, Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from Cambridge University.

Experience:

I am a Cambridge CELTA certified Corporate ESL and Exam Preparation Trainer. I am dedicated to helping my clients learn effective communication by providing high quality instructions. I have experience in teaching cross-cultural communication skills, public speaking and presentation skills to clients from various backgrounds- in groups as well as one on one sessions. I have handled work ranging from school projects to corporate projects for the government departments. I also like to invest my time in content development. Specialties- Corporate ESL Training, Exam Preparation, Course material development.

Approach:

I believe in complete interaction between a teacher and her student(s). The approach that you would most see me follow is the "MDAD Approach" wherein I begin with Modelling a new concept, followed by Displaying it on paper as to how it's done. Once the student has seen me Model and Display the technique, it is now time for them to work on the Application part which is then followed by Drill. By doing Drills, the students get to practice the new concepts learnt and to develop consistency.
