Experience:

I originally began my teaching credential courses (TEFL, Early Childhood Education and Teaching Adults) with the goal of becoming an ESL teacher as a new career path after many years of secretarial work. My teaching experience includes private lessons on one-to-one basis as well as small groups of children and adults for period of one year where I was able to utilize my knowledge and personal experiences of languages learning to better assist my students.

Approach:

I sit with the student first to establish his learning goals as well as assessing his level. Subsequently I would prepare monthly teaching plan which we would agreed upon. I try to help the student not just by learning grammar and vocabulary but also idioms, understanding of English culture by using media and conversations on selected topics.
