PGCE Primary with QTS - BA Hons Degree (2:1)

Experience:

I am a highly qualified teacher with 5 years of experience teaching the British National Curriculum in England plus my current year teaching in a British school in Dubai. I have tutored for a number of children at numerous points in their education, all of whom I have experienced lots of progress and success with. I am very confident in teaching all areas of the curriculum, particularly English and Maths which are essential qualifications that children need to ensure a brighter future.

Approach:

I like to make my sessions fun and interesting in order to engage the children's' minds and imaginations. I do not simply dictate to the children as I encourage independent learners which is a life skill that I promote and teach during lessons. My sessions are always based around the needs of the individual child I am teaching, although I like to make them feel like they are leading their own learning by deciding on areas of weakness they would like to improve. I encourage children to challenge themselves in all areas to the best of their ability and will always ensure that the work set allows for confidence to be built with just enough challenge to create a positive attitude towards work.
