Experience:

I have a BSc in psychology and a PGCE in Primary Education. I worked as a year 4 teacher in the UK for two years and am now in my third year teaching in a British curriculum school in Dubai. I taught for 2 years in Year 1 and am currently teaching in Year 2. I firmly believe in making learning enjoyable and engaging for every child and use a range of different approaches to ensure that it is.

Approach:

I think it's important to establish a good relationship between the tutor and the student so that they feel comfortable and hopefully look forward to the sessions. Initially I will assess their current ability and discuss with the parents if there are any specific target areas or goals. I will then use my knowledge of the curriculum and a range of strategies to focus on these areas.
