MA, Higher Education Administration & Supervision, BA Finance, 5 Years Teaching 3 Years UAE High School Mathematics

Experience:

I began tutoring in 2008 while in college studying Finance. I graduating number one in my high school class and in the top 5% of my university class. My strengths include Mathematics and English. In the US I was the Math Intervention specialist for a primary school. The past two years I've taught High School mathematics at the Institute of Applied Technology High School. I enjoy educating and connecting with students.

Approach:

My lessons are a direct derivative of the student. I must first understand the level of the student through basic assessments and then create a program that would be beneficial for them. In the classroom I am the facilitator, I create the pathway for the student to walk, but it is up to them to figure out how to reach the finish line. This is how learning happens, by giving the students the essentials for success and ensuring they practice using those tools.
