Experience:

I have been very fortunate to work with children and staff from all over the world which has given me a comprehensive insight as to the meaning and value of a bespoke learning approach; what the benefits of this are and how I can continue to develop my practice to ensure the good progress / outcomes from every pupil. Previously, I was a PE Coordinator, specialising in organising the PE Curriculum, Sport's Clubs, competitions, Sport's Day and more.

Approach:

Working with children has always been my passion, I enjoy working in a reflective and evaluative way that prepares students for an ever evolving world; an aspect of teaching that I am passionate about. As I continue my career in teaching, my personal educational and teaching philosophies have developed. I have worked as a KS1 teacher and it has given me a comprehensive insight as to the meaning and value of a personal learning and development approach that focuses on meta-cognitive skills and proven thinking strategies to ensure the good progress and outcomes from every pupil. My particular interests with regards to teaching are empowering children to be independent and reflective learners.
