Experience:

I am a BA graduate and a TKT Cambridge qualification holder having almost 7 years experience of teaching. I have worked as a result-oriented Lecturer at tertiary level institutes such as Naval Institute of Technology and Advance Trade Training School and in universities in Sri Lanka. I have also worked as the head teacher at Smiles English Academy, Sri Lanka in which we offered tuition and mentorship for all the age groups staring from nursary kids to housewives and working professionals.I offer tuition in English (Writng/Speaking/Listening/Reading/Presentation skills/Elocution... for both children and adults), English Literature, Sinhalese and Buddhism through audio-video lessons, interactive sessions, and activity based lessons.

Approach:

I provide mentor ship and create a conducive learning environment with trust, compassion and support. I try to provide a stimulating learning environment in which students can develop to their full potential while inculcating a passion for learning the subject. I develop and implement lesson plans that cater individual’s learning style and ability, empowering students to succeed and realize the individual goals.
