As someone who is dedicated to provide the highest quality services at all times, I am involved in all aspects of teaching, particularly when it comes to showing flexibility in responding to pupil needs. The foundation of my success lies in my passion for ensuring that all students have a positive experience in science. By always setting high expectations and providing support and encouragement. I can motivate and enable my students to reach their full potential.

Approach:

I tutor students on a one to one basis or in a group setting. Sessions are organised depending on the needs of students (completing the syllabus, exam preparation, revision, working on the areas what need improvement etc.). Working with the student from the level that they are at (which could be a basic level or an advanced level) and help build their skills up so that they achieve the standard required for sitting their exams (for e.g. GCSE/IGCSE). In my approach I try to strike a balance by working with the student to formulate a learning plan with clear outcomes and a time frame for achieving targets along with an informal approach to the lessons themselves. Using homework to consolidate and extend learning and encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning. A calm and assertive style of teaching ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for all students. I use a 'praise and encouraging' approach with all my students. Ability to assess the needs of individual students by building good relationships rooted in mutual respect. By keeping up to date with new teaching initiatives I constantly produce and deliver innovative resources. I am able to communicate clearly and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and with different abilities. Being a female Physics teacher I can promote passion for Science of girls and encourage to pursue Science.
