B.A. with History and Law. Postgraduate Certificate in Education.

Experience:

I am an experienced primary school teacher with over ten years teaching and tutoring experience. I specialise in teaching English, Maths and Science to Cycle 1 students but am also available to tutor to a range of different levels and abilities. I have additional certified experience teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) and as a second language (TESOL). I am passionate about teaching and about helping each individual achieve their full learning potential.

Approach:

My lessons are engaging and stimulating and designed to meet the specific needs of each learner. My lessons will take account of the learner's prior knowledge and build upon this in order to improve and consolidate any new learning. Lessons will be well structured and goal oriented in order to ensure the learner can experience success and achievement. In this way, the learner can take ownership of their own learning and will be motivated to continue to learn to his/her full potential.
