Qualification:

I am a university degree holder with a total of 6 plus years teaching experience. I am fully-conversant in delivering classroom and online lessons and is highly familiar with various computer applications that complement the demands of modern day learners

Experience:

I gained my initial tutoring experience via online teaching platform where I taught English to students from Japan, Korea, and China. It was a mixture of levels such that I was teaching beginner to advance students all at the same time. The company I worked for at that time was a start-up school so I undertook several relevant functions such as revision of course/lesson materials and student curriculum management. I began teaching full-time upon being hired as a language trainer and it was during that time where my focus shifted from virtual to a more collaborative classroom/blended teaching approach. There I had the opportunity to extend my instructional reach by teaching Accent and Conversational English, Business English, IELTS Test Preparation and other foreign languages such as Spanish. Furthering my instructional genius, I immersed into the complex area of educating Special Children which required many times more creativity, patience and understanding of the cognitive processes of non-conventional learners challenging me to venture and incorporate science-based approaches to teaching. 

Approach:

My methodology of teaching is to explain the concepts first and then give the students material for rigorous practice. I focus on problem solving and conceptual approach to solve a problem.
