Experience:

I am an experienced and successful Primary teacher with a background in psychology, who achieves her goals by drawing upon 20 years of experience. I have taught both the British and International Primary curriculum across a broad range of ages (3-11 )as well as lower secondary years (MYP; year 7-8). 

Approach:

Enhanced by my background in Psychology, I pride myself on developing an excellent rapport and inspiring trust and confidence in all my students. After completing an initial assessment on each child I take the time to prepare and tailor every lesson to suit each of my student's needs and preferences using games, ICT and practical activities. I put a lot of effort into researching learning Topics online, developing lesson plans based on curriculum expectations and finding or creating the most relevant and accessible resources to support every lesson. With excellent communication skills, patience, sensitivity, creativity, flexibility, refined behaviour management skills and commitment, any family can rest assured that I will do my utmost to provide a nurturing and safe learning environment for their child. I am proficient in delivering online lessons too.
