Master Degree in Journalism and Social Sciences, B.Ed. B.Sc.

Experience:

This is my second year teaching of Kindergarten at a private school in Abu Dhabi. My educational background includes two Bachelor degrees (Early Childhood Education and Social Sciences) and a Master degree (Soocial Sciences and Journalism) from the University of Calgary, Canada and Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. I have taught Kindergarten (KG1 and KG2) in Canada for 5 years, KG2 in Abu Dhabi for one year as well as worked as a substitute teacher in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Approach:

I understand that each child requires an individualized approach when it comes to learning. I personalize my lesson plans to fit the students learning style as well as the school curricullar requirements. I have  understood how important the hands on approach is in early childhood education that I provide my students with plenty of educational games and resources to allow them to gain deep understanding of the subject taught. It is very important for me as an educator to establish a trusting relationship with my students to create a safe and encouraging learning environment. I am a warm, caring teacher with a good sense of humour and a lot of patience.
