Bachelors of English & Science (Hons), Post Grad in Primary Ed & Masters in English Language.

Experience:

I have 9 years teaching experience, all of which I have provided after school private tuition to a students all varying in ability and age groups. I also set up a weekend study support group for these students that struggled in various subject areas. Its always proved hugely beneficial and ensured targets were reached therefore grades always improved.

Approach:

I have a very focused and organised approach to my tutoring sessions.As I am being paid for these, it is my duty to ensure 100% progress in made and grades hopefully improve.I use my first two meeting to highlight problem areas and a suitable learning approach for your child ( as each approach differs greatly).I use rewards as incentives and enjoys building up a positive ( not threatening) relationship with your child.I create all notes, study guides and keep all worksheets up to date.If the parents wishes, I will communicate with the class teacher and we can work together for maximum results.
