Bachelor in English Literature and Geography, Postgraduate Teaching Diploma English and Geography, Masters in Geography

Experience:

I have a wide experience of both tutoring and teaching. Here in Dubai I currently teach Grade 6 English, IB level English Language and Literature, IGCSE Geography and IB level Geography. In the past I have tutored students from primary school on developing their writing style, older students in TOEFL, as well as older students who are preparing for exam. I have taught the British and American curricula in a private Swiss school for 3 years and in an IB school in Germany for 2 years.

Approach:

My approach to tutoring is firm but fair. I will adapt my tutoring approach to the individual student and I will make my expectations for each session clear. My aim is to strengthen the student's confidence and academic ability in the subject area.
