Experience:

Edexcel Examiner for Business GCSE and A Level. High focus on exam strategy and technique. One to one and paired revision activities. Use of past exam papers and intervention topics to aid understanding of areas students struggle with.

Approach:

Subject topic consolidation followed by exam question from past papers. Feedback from an examining perspective and encourage students to mark and reflect on own answers.  A typical structure would be: Recap a specific topic (e.g. Cashflow). Learn/recap definitions and the theory behind it. Then answer an exam question in regards to a case study. Get students to then mark own answer using the mark scheme. I would then give feedback. Discuss areas for improvement.
