BA in German Studies of the School of Philosophy (University of Athens/ University of Heidelberg)

Experience:

In German language, I have been preparing students for levels (A1,A2, B1,B2,C1,C2 according to the Common European Framework) in private and public schools for the last 30 years. I have extensive experience on IB and GCSE German language exams to pursue university accreditation and competence. On the side to developing language skills I am also working on cultural skills to assist candidates in the climatization of living and studying in Germany. My expertise is the adaptation of the training curriculum to the student taking into consideration different language level skills and mother languages.

Approach:

My training style adheres to proven peadogogical structures. I am combining a number of training methods and media to stimulate the interest and attention of the students such as: * Drills and exercises on the language phenomena.  * Listening comprehension exercises. * Videos to enhance the cultural understanding. * Energizers and games to make learning a pleasant experience. * Exams and written tests to strengthen the stamina and experience of the student. Teaching and tutoring comes hand in hand with regular meetings with parents or sponsors to review progress.
