Experience:

I have been a full time teacher for the past four years. I was a teacher in England for three years before moving to Dubai last summer. I have a lot experience dealing with one to one situations as I have worked a lot in intervention programmers, including Gifted and Talented children as well as under achievers and those with special educational needs.

Approach:

I believe the tutor should take on a different role than that of a class room teacher. The tutors aim should be to make the student comfortable enough to ask the questions that may not want to ask in the classroom. The tutor can help to extend the learning from the classroom and encourage the child to reach its full potential.
