Bacherlor's Degree from the American University of Beirut

Experience:

I have many years in tutoring and working with children. I use the tutoring experience, in general, to motivate, empower and encourage students to study a subject in an exciting way, even if they are not necessarily too interested in the subject. When you have someone going through the studying process with you, you feel more of a responsibility to do well and hopefully more confident. 

Approach:

I personally am a visual learner and I understand that there are different ways people absorb information. I believe it is also the role of a tutor not just to help teach a subject, but to also boost the confidence of the student and release the stress and frustration the may be going through at school by being patient and understanding. A tutor must also find ways to motivate their student because the subject they are studying is probably one that they are not interested in or find difficult and frustrating. I base my tutoring practice on building self-confidence, motivation, and empowerment.
