Experience:

As a member of International House (a global language institute based in London) training program, which aims to train mandarin speakers as professional mandarin teachers, successfully finished the program and gained a recognized certificate. Worked as a mandarin teacher in International House Xi'an, students are with an international background of American, British, Italian, Switzerland etc.

Approach:

By identifying different language levels and learning intentions of students, a specific teaching system is applied accordingly. The purpose of language itself is to communicate, so my priority are being put on the practicality and usefulness rather than stiff grammar rules. Visual aids and other up-to-date methods are also being used to motivate students to gain the first-hand and contemporary Chinese knowledge. Students can learn mandarin everywhere not just from text books.
