Experience:

I have earned over a decade of teaching experience. During this time I have had the opportunity to teach in both formal classroom settings at the tertiary level as well as in private, informal settings for high school level students. My experience has been rich and varied in terms of content also - I have taught hardcore technical subjects as well as English as a second language and I have taught students from 9 year olds to mature learners.

Approach:

I am a dedicated well-prepared teacher/mentor. I like to tailor classes for specific 'trouble areas' that a student may experience. It gives me immense satisfaction to see my students grow in confidence and conquer their fears! Throughout my journey I have enjoyed the experience but none more than when I have been able to unlock the love of the sciences/mathematics for young learners who have been alienated by the breadth or scope of a given topic within these subject areas. Please note I do not travel to a students' location - I can offer face-to-face tuition but have also used Skype in the past with excellent results.
