  3. The Demographic Transition Model A model that shows change in population over time; birth rate, death rate, natural increase and natural decrease. It can be used to estimate population change. The model was developed in the mid 20th century based on repeated observation of similar population growth patterns in countries — mainly Western. What are we seeing here?
