I am currently an Assistant Headteacher in a primary school in Abu Dhabi having taught in England. I am from Liverpool, and this is where I earned my degree in Key Stage 2/3 Education. This enables me to teach both primary children as well as children coming to the end of their education. I am currently teaching year 5 and have taught years 1-6 during my career. I have tutored many children ranging in subjects, curriculum and ability to achieve their targets.

Being a young teacher, I like to approach tutoring sessions on their level. Obviously a level of professionalism is required when tutoring but if children don’t enjoy it, they won’t want to learn. I like to make my sessions interesting and will often take a creative approach to learning (when appropriate).
