Yana is really a very good teacher. She understands how to deal with a student, gives him time, supports you, and explains from his mind. I made Russia from her in a short time, and I am very happy with her master, Yana.

I had over 6 Russian teachers and Ms Yana was the one that I stayed the longest with now for almost 2 years. My Russian language has drastically improved. Her way of teaching is not just memorize. She teaches in a unique way. I recommended 10/10.

Yana is one of the best Russian teacher on MyPrivateTutor! She speaks very naturally and clear, adjusting her speed accordingly. She made a lot of notes and recommendations which I can now use to review learned words and expressions. I really enjoy my time with her. Ms Rima is an amazing tutor, French is easy to learn and pick up when i took classes with her, I find grammar easy and understandable when she explained it. she recommended amazing books and music that helped me in exploring not only french language but the culture too and I am forever grateful for her for helping me in developing the language. I totally recommend her if you want to improve language, her teaching style is flexible and just perfect.

Having had my daughter attend this tutor for several months I informed her that we would be taking a break for the summer. Following this I was offered a job away from Abu Dhabi and attempted to plan in advance to find a tutor in my new location, using this site. The tutor having seen this then sent my wife a message, followed by her sending me fifteen emails, all of a not very pleasant nature. I attempted to explain my situation to the tutor, whom I had had good relations with. The tutor then sent me several unpleasant messages and having asked her not to send me another message again, I was forced to block her number. The behaviour of this tutor was totally unacceptable and I can only say to any other person, that I would very strongly consider whether you use them or not. I had originally posted a nice review on this site, however after receiving all the messages, I asked for it to be removed and I am now explaining to everyone why. On a purely educational note, the tutor was very keen to begin with, going over grammar and reading etc, however towards the end, she did not cover anything I asked, returning reading books as homework (clearly I cannot understand the language I asked her to teach, otherwise I would not need the tutor), there was a lot of play, not a lot of work. I am not writing this review out of spite in any way, I just believe that you should know the kind of tutor you are getting.
