This is my sixth year teaching here in Abu Dhabi. Primary & kindergarten experience. I identify the needs of students and if necessary adapt course content and delivery style to meet their needs. First thing I do is find out where the student is in their learning and content knowledge. Identify the student's strengths and weaknesses and build a plan to best improve the student from that.  I have taught the Irish, American and British curriculum. I generally speak with the child and parents and plan around what the class teacher has assigned or what is being covered in class. I can provide extra materials if required to extend or scaffold their learning potential.

Regular updates will be given to parents along with the child's 'next steps' in order for them to progress even further.

As an FS2 Maternity Cover Teacher at Mamoura British Academy, I developed and implemented engaging lesson plans aligned with the FS2 curriculum, effectively utilizing technology and innovative teaching strategies. This role reinforced my ability to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, including the provision of exploration time where students engage in themed learning experiences. These experiences promoted children’s development across all EYFS areas and fostered curiosity and enthusiasm for learning through play.

Prior to this, I served as an FS2 Homeroom Teacher at GEMS The Cambridge High School for nearly five years.
