Course Details

It's truly amazing that we can communicate just by using our hands! Add different facial expressions, and you have a conversation—the language of Deaf people. In this course, you'll discover how to use this graceful, expressive language to communicate with Deaf people.

You'll begin with an introduction to the language itself, and learn to create the signs for numbers. You'll also master the sign alphabet so you can fingerspell proper names.

Then you'll learn to sign phrases and expand to complete sentences, and see how to put it all together so you can introduce yourself and start a conversation. Along the way, you'll learn signs for colors, numbers, where you live, family, and the activities you like to do and even the ones you don't.

Throughout, you'll learn by watching videos that demonstrate how to make the signs and how to incorporate facial expressions to communicate in this beautiful language. This course is taught using the best practices of the industry with a minimum of audio support. Throughout, you'll be immersed in silence, so you'll gain an understanding of the perspective of Deaf people and sign language.

You'll also gain an introduction to the world of Deaf culture and explore topics such as lipreading, baby signs, and the career of interpreting. By the end of the course, when you meet a Deaf person, you'll be ready to sign!

Course Details

Funky Fingers is all about strenghthening fine motor skills through play and suitable for children 3-5. Your child will have a focused/guided task with an adult which will focus on a specific skill, e.g. using scissors to snip and then he/she will be free to play with activities, carefully selected by an early years practitioner to help develop those all important skills in a meaningful and playful way. 

Course Details

From the ages of 02 months to 6 years all children at Little Pandas Early Learning Centre follow the Early Years Foundation Stage – the National Curriculum of England for all children from birth until they go into Primary School.

This, in turn, prepares the children and feeds into the National Curriculum at Key Stage 1 – which is covered in the Reception Class at Primary School. The Early Learning Goals are a series of aims within six areas of a child’s development and learning.

Personal, social and emotional development, which focuses on the children learning how to work, play share and become more independent in a group other than the family unit

• Communication, language, and literacy – this covers developing skills in speaking, listening, writing and reading as well as communication with one another.
• Mathematical development, using ideas relating to numbers, measurement, quantity, shape, and space in order to gain basic mathematical skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of the created world, where children investigate and begin to understand the things, places, and people around them.
• Physical development, relating to improving control and coordination of their bodies.
• Creative development, where children find ways to communicate using color, shape, sound, texture, movement, and stories.

Although the structured and formal part of your child’s day is important we give the unstructured and informal part, such as meal times, talking to each other, and outside play, just as much importance, because during this time your child is continuously learning.

Course Details

The students are involved in several playful physical activities. They are made to do simple exercises which helps them remain fir and healthy and also helps in their growth process and physical development. Special classes are conducted in which students are given lessons on the importance of a healthy diet.
