I have worked between industry in New Zealand and higher education sector for more than 7 years. My career has spanned between Creative Advertising and Teaching. Now I am working as Graphic Design lecturer & Multimedia Educator. My objective is to prepare a new generation of designers who cannot only make things more aesthetic, but can think, speak and write about engaging graphic design that can communicates a story through the design process.

Tutoring Approach

My approach in teaching is always based on creating a positive learning environment (Learning by Doing). I also try to highlight the things that each student does well, for example participation or achievement in class, as I believe that fosters a more positive attitude and give students a sense of independence. As designer and educator, for me a teacher should encourage student development for Critical Thinking Innovation, Problem Solving, sustainability 
and Skills.

I have 10 years of in the classroom teaching experience at the Primary level. Strengths include English Language, Math, Science, and Art in both American, British, and IB curriculums. I will to make learning fun while achieving growth and maximum potential in every student. I am passionate about teaching English and Math to primary age students, while qualified up to Grade 10. I am also a talented artist who will also assist with creative subjects, such as drawing, painting, sewing, and design.

Tutoring Approach

I will plan lessons according to the subject of study and lessons being learned in school as well as give extra help in areas needed, once the student is assessed over the first few tutoring sessions. Lessons will be tailored to the learning needs of individual students, because all students learn differently. Tutoring techniques include completing homework with students, creating flashcards and study materials, and interactive games within the tutoring sessions.

I am a Bachelor degree holder with specialisation in Music. I have 15 years experience of working as a trainer for flute, piano, vocal, saxophone and recorder. I conduct music classes for individuals of all age groups. I conduct music classes for Triniry and ABRSM exams and along with this, I also offer personal music programs.

I offer individual tutoring with all type of needs. Students can practice music together in duo with teacher performer. I am a firm believer that every child has the power and will to learn and can be benefitted greatly by individualised instruction and can develop the skills to succeed and achieve their full potential.

One of my greatest achievements in teaching was implementing a project-based learning initiative in my art classroom. This resulted in a 20% increase in student engagement and a 15% improvement in overall arts scores on standardized tests. By integrating real-world applications with fellow teachers, I have always been able to foster a deeper understanding of Early Modern Childhood concepts and inspire a passion for learning among my students. This initiative received recognition from the school board and served as a model for other teachers to adopt similar instructional strategies.
