Course Details

Upon the successful completion of this course, each participant will be able to:   

• Gain in-depth knowledge in BIM-Building Information Modeling: Revit Architecture, Structure and MEP
• Understand the user-interface of the software, configuring templates & standards and modeling & massing
• Recognize the conceptual design and design analysis, working with phasing, groups and design options
• Create walls and model floors, ceilings and roofs
• Design with family editor and create stairs and railings
• Detail, document and annotate design
• Create levels, grids, structural foundations and walls
• Understand the structural reinforcement, placing beams and creating views
• Discuss the annotation and drafting tools, schedules and legends
• Illustrate the basic creation tools, basic editing tools and start a MEP project
• Study the views, component families, spaces and zones
• Carryout the building performance analysis
• Describe the HVAC, hydraulic piping, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems
• Carryout scheduling, detailing, documentation, work sharing and presentations
