Course Details

By attending this course, students will be able to:

• Show an increased understanding of US culture, academic life, and the workplace through working with course materials
• Understand and use an increased number of idioms, phrasal verbs, as well as words and phrases used in everyday conversation in the US
• Express and understand messages through facial expressions, body language, and other non-verbal cues
• Demonstrate, through a variety of means, an improvement in strategic competence/keeping the conversation flowing
