Course Details

This course not only covers the essentials of Linux in depth, but also, advanced administration including monitoring and troubleshooting. Students will be able to learn basic administrative tasks such as adding and managing users, creating and maintaining file systems, developing and implementing a security policy and performing software installation and package management. It will also teach them to install, configure and maintain a Linux system in a networked environment and help them perform network-related tasks such as installing and supporting SSH, Samba, NFS, DNS, DHCP, and the Apache Web server.
