Course Details

The course is specially designed to develop teenagers and young adults’ communicative ability in Chinese by learning language structures, functions and related cultural knowledge as well as by training their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a great deal of practice and exercise while also mastering the necessary grammatical knowledge and rules for word and sentence formation.  Our teaching materials are students’ centred and determined by students’ needs, and enable them to learn creatively, gradually strengthening their motivation and sense of achievement. We have incorporated arts and crafts, role plays, live dialogues, show and tell, fun competitions to encourage student’s active participation and desire to use the language effectively. We also offer proper after class follow up to ensure weekly learning content is well absorbed and grasped by each HM teenage learner. The curriculum used is New Practical Chinese Reader and HSK standard course books.
