The GMAT exam – created by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the global non-profit council of business schools – sets the standard for its ability to predict success in the classroom. The GMAT exam measures the skills you have and the skills schools need. The importance of a GMAT score can range from being a mere admission formality to an important selection factor. Scholarships are also awarded on the basis of the GMAT score. There are no specific eligibility criteria for GMAT Test. Hence, the aspirants sitting for GMAT test do not have to fulfill any necessary GMAT eligibility criteria. Aspirants can register for the test irrespective of age and qualification. However, the candidate has to fulfill the admission criteria for individual institutes where he/she is applying. Once the candidate has registered for the test he/she is free to choose any available GMAT.
