Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme develop engineers with a firm grounding in electronics, plus the specialist skills required to work at the forefront of electrical engineering, power and control.
Engineering modules are designed to provide technical skills of researching, presenting and a general introduction to other requisite technical conventions. The lessons are delivered by qualified lecturers in the format of lectures and seminars. Lab sessions are sometimes used to give opportunity for practical work. Students study between 2 to 4 hours each week in well appointed classrooms equipped with IT access part of the ethos is to encourage group collaboration on projects so during the term group presentation, classroom participation and attendance are used to provide assessment at the end of the term with oral and written coursework.
