Abacus is an ancient tool used for doing mathematical calculations, it uses rows of beads to do calculations. It was invented by the Chinese. Abacus is used to do quick calculations.

Abacus helps a child visualise number and related calculations, after enough practice the child is equipped to do mental maths or arithmetic in a quicker way producing correct results every time.

Abacus can be learnt at any age, however, we recommend a child should start learning Abacus from the age of 4 to 14 years.

It helps in improving a child’s visualisation, capabilities when a person visualises, he or she concentrates more and every time they get a correct answer, they are encouraged to do more which in turn helps a lot in concentration development.
