Test of English Foreign Language (TOEFL) Exam Practice The TOEFL exam evaluates nonnative English speakers’ ability to speak, read, write and listen to English in a similar way that is used in universities. There are two well recognized formats of the TOEFL: iBT (Internet Based) and PBT (Paper Based). TOEFl (PBT): It tests Listening, Reading and Grammar skills with total score of 677 TOEFL iBT: It tests Reading (60- 80 minutes), Listening (60- 90 minutes), Speaking (20 minutes) and Writing (50 minutes) with total score of 120 .
