Highway Engineering is a branch of Civil Engineering which exclusively deals with the designing, construction, functioning, and maintenance of roads or highways. It is not an easy task and demand proper knowledge and training as it involves estimation of current and future traffic volumes on a road network. At the same time one has to keep in mind other aspects such as safety, making the project pollution free.
