Preparatory sessions for TFL is available here at Eton. TFL certification is for candidates interested in teaching any foreign language other than English. Eton Institute's internationally recognized TFL certification course is for candidates interested in teaching English as a language to non-native speakers, and is perfect for both new teachers and current teachers wishing to upgrade their skill set.

Course formats:

INTENSIVE 

• 120-hour course (90 hour classroom based with 30 hour self-study over 6 weeks, including 6 hours of teaching practice)
• Focuses on lesson planning and practical teaching skills

INTENSIVE FOR OVERSEAS STUDENTS

• 120-hour course (60 hour classroom based and 60 hours of self-study including pre and post work to be completed with an online TESOL Instructor)
• Combination of self-study and class-room session.

EXTENDED

• Ideal for those who are able to study independently and self-organize.
• Join the course any Saturday of your choice, and attend for 8 consecutive weeks, with additional days for teaching practice.
• The Saturday classes provide the opportunity to interact with peers, get first-hand support and feedback, and deliver 4 hours of observed teaching practice.

ONLINE

• 120-hour course conducted entirely through self-study learning.
• Support of a qualified, Mobile Learning teacher trainer who will guide you and assess assignments throughout the course.
