Course Details

This workshop is designed for all levels of staff up to supervisor/ junior manager and is intended to help participants develop more assertive behavior when dealing with others. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Describe what is meant by "assertive behavior".
• Identify the difference between aggressive, submissive and assertive behaviors.
• Describe the benefits of behaving in more assertive way.
• Make use of effective techniques for behaving more assertively when dealing with others.
• Learn more about their own preferred behaviors and the impact that ego can have.
• Describe useful strategies for dealing with difficult situations.
