Scaffolding Safety Inspection Course is available here. By the end of the course attendees will have a broad based training in the basic skills, techniques and record keeping of Basic Scaffolding Inspection.

Course contents:

• Course registration and introduction
• Introduction to regulation and approved codes of practice
• Scaffolding materials & terminology (to include tubes, boards & fittings)
• Construction common to all scaffolds (basic frame)
• Construction common to all scaffolds continued, including: Ties, ladders and working platforms
• Scaffold inspection requirements
• Practical inspection of Independent Tied Scaffold
• Review of findings
• Review of days training
• Returns, loading bays, alternative tie methods, hoisting equipment
• Practical inspection of scaffold with ancillary equipment and report back
• Scaffolds requirements including inspection and report back
• Freestanding tower scaffolds, static and mobile including inspection and report
• Towers including inspection and report
• Birdcage scaffolds
• Theory test (if required)
