To develop in Delegates an understanding of scaffolding components, forms of construction and inspection procedures of basic access scaffolds, to comply with relevant current legislation and Codes of Practice. The course will give Delegates a thorough understanding of:

• Gin wheels and ropes
• Scaffold ties
• Construction regulations and recommendations of basic scaffolds to include:

  • birdcage

  • system scaffolds

• Practical inspection
• Reports
